Tallinn's old town is situated on Toompea, a hill which forms the tourist centre and where most of the sites and booming nightlife is centered.

There are many different bars and pubs in Tallinn. Most of them situated in the old town. Tallinn is especially rich in Irish Pubs. (Molly Maolones, - near the Town Hall square, St Patrick's - near Hollywood, O'Malley's - on Viro street etc) There are several "no-special-theme" bars and pubs, a lot of them situated near Karja street. Tallinn is full of great clubs all of which stay open till 4 in the morning ( Venus, Hollywood and Spirit are rated the top three). Strip clubs are available for men and women and are very up market.  Them bars such as the Havana Club and the Nimega Bar are the main places to meet, and finally for the quirky there is the Depeche Mode Bar  dedicated to the band with the groups video's playing all night.
